	we fund research grants and requests
	we purchase essential medical equipment, toys and comforts for afflicted children
	we provide financial support and gifts for children undergoing heart surgery
	we give time and help to pediatric wards during special holidays and events
	we support families by offering: support meetings, parent to parent referral list, quarterly newsletters, bereavement support and a lending library of resources

	encourage the public to take this disease to heart
	strive for the day when no child will die from heart disease
	ensure the best possible care for children suffering from heart disease
	improve the quality of life for children and families living with heart disease
	educate the public about heart disease in children and their many needs
